ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Samo Ze Chu is a seasoned media professional from DALLAS, TEXAS who has worked with Design & Marketing, A/V Production, Website Production and Backend Management since college days at STANFORD UNIVERSITY in PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA (1993-1998) where he earned a Masters Degree in MUSIC SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. After graduating STANFORD, he moved to NEW YORK CITY, and founded the record label CALICO PARK ENTERTAINMENT with fellow colleagues, and later EVOLUTION MEDIA LAB, a collective of media professionals that focused on incubating internet projects during the DOT COM SUCCESS ERA of the late 90′s. In NEW YORK, Samo worked with numerous prolific internet projects for MTV.COM, BMG.COM, BOO.COM, KOZMO.COM, CONTROLCOMMERCE.COM, LEAHC.COM, HEAVY.COM, and many others. From the collective grew Beleza Arts Group Management, which represents media producers, writers and performers that are affiliated with Beleza worldwide.

In 2005, Samo relocated to RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL where he CURRENTLY helps overseas businesses integrate into brazilian markets with multi-lingual website development. He also teaches audio/video production, design, and managing WORDPRESS systems in portuguese. BELEZA.BIZ is a new company Samo has started with other producers and designers to help develop creative and interesting ideas for international companies looking to express their brand in a unique way.
